Bio

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the upcoming election on November 4th, 2025. As a lifelong resident of Spencer Township I am deeply committed to serving the needs of our community making it a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Service in Spencer Twp: Over the past fifteen years I have served the citizens of Spencer Township. I was elected as Trustee from 2014-2018 and again in 2019-2022. Prior to this I served on the Spencer Volunteer Fire & EMS Dept, Chaired the Board of Zoning Appeals and Joint Economic Development Zoning Board. In my time as Trustee I fought to protect your tax dollars and improve the quality of life for all our citizens.
Military Service: I served as a medic in the Ohio Army National Guard in operations both at home and abroad from October 2011 to October 2020 after which I received an honorable discharge.

Pledge: If elected, I will continue to work hard to represent the best interests of our community. If you are informed I believe we can build a brighter future for our Twp. and make it a place that we are all proud to call home.  Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you again.

Platform

Goals for this Term
  • Long term financial security, accountability, and transparency.
  • Reduce and eventually eliminate the Twp tax burden on residents.
  • Secure individual and legacy property rights through simplified zoning as opposed to catering to developers and technology corporations that would want to fundamentally change our townships land uses with projects like Data Centers.
  • Allow families to choose their education system of choice.
  • Video Record and Release all Trustee Meetings online to inform and provide more accountability to you as a resident.

Past Achievements:
  • Reduced the tax burden by forgoing the collection of tax levies that were no longer needed, keeping your money in your pocket.
  • Allocated your tax dollars to rebuild township roads and create a road maintenance program to ensure the longevity of your investment.
  • Consolidation of Fire/EMS services by partnering with Springfield Fire/Ems whereby saving the residents of Spencer Township Millions in tax dollars and securing a higher level of emergency medical care.
  • Created a permanent ditch maintenance program in conjunction with Lucas County Engineers, Lucas County Soil & Water District and the Lucas County Commissioners. This program has secured a permanent drainage solution for much of western Lucas County.
  • Created the Revolving Loan Fund in partnership with The Lucas County Port Authority that provided our Twp a return on surplus tax revenues created from the JEDZ while simultaneously offering the business and employees that created that surplus access to competitive based loans to maintain and create employment opportunities within our community.
